Refunds & Cancellation

Who this applies to

Operance is a business-to-business platform. All members contract in the course of a trade or profession; the statutory cancellation rights granted to consumers under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply.

Subscription cancellation

You may cancel any subscription at any time from the Billing area in your workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access and remaining credit allowance until that date. We do not refund the unused portion of a billing period that has already been invoiced.

Refunds at Operance discretion

We will issue a discretionary refund where:
  • You were charged for a renewal you reasonably did not authorise (notify us within 14 days of the invoice).
  • The Platform was materially unavailable for a sustained period during the billing cycle and you were unable to use the service you paid for.
  • An account was created or charged in error (e.g. duplicate signup).
Discretionary refund requests should be sent to support@operance.uk with the invoice reference. We respond within five business days.

Introduction credits

Introduction credits are consumed when you commit to an introduction. Credits are non-refundable in cash and non-transferable between accounts. Where an introduction is declined by the operator, withdrawn before acceptance, or rejected by Operance for verification or platform-integrity reasons, the credit is automatically returned to your balance. Unused credits do not roll over past the end of a paid subscription.

Disputes & chargebacks

We ask that you contact support@operance.uk before raising a chargeback with your card issuer. Chargebacks raised without prior contact may result in suspension pending resolution.

Termination by Operance

Where we suspend or terminate an account for material breach (including circumvention, misrepresentation or misuse of the Platform), no refund is due. Where we terminate an account at our convenience, we refund the pro-rata unused portion of the current billing period.
